The Pep Line is a home goods destination shoppe curated by nationally recognized interior design firm, Peppeard Design. We are always looking for creative individuals to join our team! 

CURRENTLY HIRING FOR: SHOPPE MANAGER

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A team player with strong attention to detail, eye for styling, computer savvy, fast learner, adaptable, positive attitude, and a friendly demeanor with a go-getter approach. Someone with retail management experience and in the home furnishings industry is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage daily operations of the retail shoppe open 7 days a week; no evenings past 5:30pm, only occasional evening store events. Part Time - Full Time hours.

Tracking and processing all inventory to be sold at our storefront and on our e-commerce shoppe. (Shopify knowledge a huge plus!)

Open boxes, unpack, count, and tag product.

Communicate via email and phone with vendors regarding claims, damages, and delivery issues.

Create and manage the monthly schedule for the team as well as support the training and ongoing development of the team.

Connect & Engage with customers on a daily basis, helping them envision Pep Line products in their home.

Style the products inside the shoppe to match our aesthetic.

Help plan & facilitate pep parties, sales, and community events.

Work side by side with the Peppeard Design team to assist with special orders and inventory needs.

Willingness to jump in where needed and assist the team with administrative and operational tasks.

May be asked to help in other aspects of the business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years of administrative or retail management experience.

Highly Proficient with computers (Shopify knowledge is a huge plus!)

Ability to problem solve and come up with quick solutions.

MUST have experience reading and understanding invoices and shipping documents.

Ability to work independently on tasks.

Ability to work various shifts throughout the week at our shoppe location in downtown Saint Charles, IL. 

Ability to move, lift and stack boxes up to 60lbs.
